program
every child is born a genius. albert einstein
children can only then give their best and unfold their whole potential when they receive individual encouragement. each child has its own individual development pace, its own interests and above all its own needs. we establish a secure and familiar atmosphere where we attach great importance to individual encouragement to each growing child. with our specially tailored learning program in early childhood, discovering the world step by step© we help each child to take its own personal development path. we take your child by the hand and lead it gently through the many wonders of its tiny world and support it in managing all the daily challenges.
we celebrate every occasion uniquely and unforgettable, be it the first day in our establishment, a birthday, name day or the first day at school. your child receives special attention from the teacher and the whole group on this day.
childhood is the most beautiful of all life’s season. author unknown
right from the first moment in our day care center we assign an individual teacher and contact person to you and your child. the personal teacher plays a very important and special role in the life of your child. she is there for your child in crucial moments, to help it adjust to the new surroundings, become integrated in the group and find its own place. she gives it special attention, holds its hand on walks or tells unusual stories. our other teachers also play an important role in your child’s daily program. discussions are held regularly where important information for your child is exchanged.
piglet sidled up to pooh from behind. "pooh!" he whispered. "yes, piglet?" "nothing," said piglet, taking pooh's paw. " just wanted to be sure of you" a.a. milne
we also make sure that right from the beginning an elder child in the group is allocated to your child. being there for each other helps your child to familiarize easier with the new surroundings and in the initial stage your child feels protected and supported. through a child’s eye the situation often looks different from that of an adult’s and so the older ‘tutor’ child in the group supports your child in addition to the teacher.
the tutor children are our eldest children and they learn to take over a responsibility by looking after a younger child. they pass on their knowledge and experiences and watch the success of the younger ones with pride.
the eye sees only what the mind is prepared to comprehend. henri bergson
we accompany your child gently on its way, eager and with alert senses, to conquer the world step by step. we show your child what wonders there are to be discovered every day. our teachers answer small and big questions with patience. above all, the wish to learn is aroused in each and every one.
we attach great importance that the eyes of our children are open to the world and all its diversity and that they behave in a manner of respect and without prejudice towards all that is different. this way we communicate to your child an understanding for its environment and also tolerance and respect for the other cultures that are a part of our world.
with our learning program for infants discovering the world step by step© we lead your child through exceptional topics. for one example we discover the orient together. in fairy tale and painting lessons, through making costumes and robes or by organising bazaars the children grasp the differences and open up to new culture areas. we continually encourage your child to go on this playful expedition and quicken the boundless fantasy and imagination of each one.
we discover the five world religions with your child and together we perceive the differences and connecting values such as love, respect and trust that are the basis in all religious beliefs.
the function of education is to help you from childhood not to imitate anybody, but be yourself all the time. jiddu krishnamurti
we offer your child a stable and familiar surrounding in which to grow. we accompany your child in every-day life so that it comes to know its position and value in the community and grows up to be a responsible and self-confident person.
we would like to give your child strength and stability by teaching it to having trust in itself. being self-confident means going through life in a secure way and with a positive attitude towards challenges. consequently we boost your child’s independence by encouraging it to have trust in itself.
furthermore our growing children experience the importance of clear rules in the group. your child learns to judge and handle limitations and gets to know its duties and abide by them. this ensures harmony in the group and each child receives the appropriate attention. the children then, in time, learn to solve conflict situations among themselves. we also keep an eye on polite manners and social behaviour towards each other.
i have no special talents. i am only passionately curious. albert einstein
academical achievements are often accomplished by theoretical learning. peak performances however are always from people who let themselves be lead by their innovative imagination. eagerness, inquisitiveness and fantasy are accordingly the foundation of any kind of learning, any kind of enrichment of knowledge and any kind of idealism. we wish to prepare your child for challenging situations later in life.
therefore we encourage your child, on the one hand purposeful, concentrated and relevant, and on the other hand in a playful fashion. we make sure that in all phases above all curiosity and inquisitiveness are strengthened in our growing children.
there are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. there are seven million. walt streightiff
we attach great importance to letting your child experience nature in all its forms. your child is out in the fresh air daily.
together with our growing children we discover the enchanting moments of the flora and fauna. we discover and collect small wonders of the outside world, always relevant and specific, which are used in our projects. we teach your child awareness of the environment and to have respect for all living creatures. on visits to the farm and the zoo your child discovers and learns to love the animals. we also welcome in the seasons together. together with the children we specially prepare and celebrate new year, summer parties, thanksgiving and naturally christmas.
in addition we offer your child various outdoor games and exercise programs. your child can use its energy in games, matches and tournaments and thus learn to calculate its strength. we offer, among other things, children’s wrestling, judo and ball games. in the quieter part of the program which always has highlights on the artistic side, we encourage self-control, body control as well as your child’s own rhythm. creative children's dances, ballet, children's yoga or autogenic training sparks the interest in such focussed movements.
we are aware that children are physically quite differently developed and so we therefore make sure that each child takes part in all our exercises, only according to its own strength.
music is the literature of the heart, it commences where speech ends. alphonse de lamarti
we set great value on early musical education and we open the ears and above all the hearts of the children to music. we already start with first tone experiences and first rhythmic exercises with our very small children. individual programs in small groups, such as instrumental lessons or the children’s choir, train the senses and receptiveness of your child.
alongside the joint music sessions, the children are also encouraged to listen and watch. suitable radio plays e.g. the magic flute or stories about the young mozart spark off pleasure and enthusiasm for classical music. we make sure that we visit children’s concerts and other performances regularly. the special and expectant atmosphere of such a visit is never forgotten and lays the foundation for a life long love of music.
a different language is a different vision of life. federico fellini
we especially encourage linguistic abilities and expression in our growing children. half of our teachers speak only english with the children. your child thus grows up playfully bilingual from the first day in our establishment.
we regularly hold fairy tale and reading lessons with stories from all over the world. we encourage them to learn poems and lyrics that they then present to each other or to the parents. project work, for example a theater group, trains not only the linguistic and physical expressiveness but also your child’s self-confidence by appearing before the group.
every child is an artist. the problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up. pablo picasso
our encouragement in the area of aesthetics and art education enables your child to dip into the world of art with all its diversity of shape, colour, style and method. your child collects its first experiences in different projects, when working with wood, pottery, porcelain or painting silk. water colours and finger paints arouse fun and enjoyment with the young children for design and forms.
regular visits to museums and guided tours for children complete the practical experiences and create an early understanding for aesthetics. in a suitable way for children we furthermore read and discuss together stories and books on the paths of life of famous artists.
the larger the island of knowledge, the longer the shoreline of wonder. ralph m. sockman
we introduce your child in small groups, after the age of four, to preselected fields of knowledge. in this regard our establishment possesses its own mediothek where one can find children's books, knowledge books, audio-visual media, and computers suitable for children as well as educational literature for teachers and parents.
through a first contact with figures, counting and combinations we encourage analytical abilities and with suitable computer and learning programs we gently introduce and acquaint your child with technology. during supervised projects your child can for the first time witness scientific experiments. inquisitiveness and above all the researcher spirit is aroused in these young children.
the habits we form from childhood make no small difference, but rather they make all the difference. aristotle
children are very different and they do not all have the same powers of self-assertion. we communicate to your child the importance of supporting each other and integrating the weaker ones into the group. at a young age our children learn to stand up for each other and to develop moral courage.
we regularly work on social projects in co-operation with our trust, globecharity. we set great value on the children learning helpfulness, responsibility and compassion and opening their hearts to the requirements of the weaker and to those in need. projects in solidarity with sport for the handicapped, singing in homes for the aged, visits to children's hospital wards and animal homes are valued very much by us.
